Wow. I apologize for the long delay in updating the podcast. I am back from a brief hiatus and have recorded Episode 18. But before I get to talking about the new mix, I just wanna discuss what has kept me busy over the past month and a half.
I DJ’ed down in Orange County at FOCUS in October, and I spun in Ventura at Pangaea recently. I work 3 nights a week at TONIC in Santa Barbara (Thurs-lighting, Fri-dj’ing, Sat-lighting/dj’ing). I haven’t even had time to record or practice mixing at home.
I went to SF twice in October to party with the Dirtybird crew. The first time was for the bbq at Golden Gate Park, and the second time was for the Halloween party at Shine. Fun times!
Ok so now onto the juicy stuff….I just found out recently that my girlfriend is pregnant with my child. She is currently 7 weeks pregnant. Which means that she got pregnant around the time that we took off for San Francisco to hit up Love Fest. We are still in shock but definitely excited for the new arrival.
With everything going on as you can see, it was fairly difficult to finally find some time to get in the ‘studio’ and record a mix. I had this particular tracklist planned for about 3 weeks now but never had the opportunity to record until now. This mix is my interpretation of the house and techno sounds of San Francisco. My favorite city. I hope you enjoy the mix. Thanks for your support.
