I entered a dj battle here in Santa Barbara a couple of weeks back. We got 15 minutes to show what we can do. I mixed 24 bmore, fidget, and electro tracks in the 15 minutes. There were approximately 15 dj’s on the lineup that night and 3 prelims all together. The top 3 from each of the 3 prelims were going to advance to the semifinal and the top 4 from that round make it to the finals. A lot was at stake at this competition: 2 headlining gigs at 2 of of Santa Barbara’s most popular nightclubs, free bottle service at both clubs, free gear from CRSVR, a good chunk of $$$, and more! Sadly my set wasn’t good enough to make it into the top 3 that night. Here’s the video:
